As independent agents we are advocates for our clients. We represent them to the insurance carriers during underwriting and once a claim occurs.

During the underwriting process it is our job to negotiate with our underwriters on behalf of our clients to make sure our clients receive the best possible coverage, terms and pricing available in the marketplace.

We view claims as our time to standout. When a claim occurs it is our time to again represent our clients to the insurance carrier. Our experience in the industry allow us to understand the nuances of an insurance contract, allowing us to make sure our clients claims are covered and handled expediently. It is during this vulnerable time for a client when we step and hold their hand throughout the process.

Principal

Dominic Piccirillo

Dominic is an entrepreneur and founder of The Cody Group. He began his career in the insurance industry as an intern in 2006 at The Mogil Organization eventually moving to The Excelsior Group six years later. After gaining valuable industry experience by working in the commercial, personal, and claims departments, Dominic decided to start his own brokerage in 2014. Doing so has allowed him to build a company culture that is hard-working, fun and energetic alongside a client base of similarly minded people. When he’s not working he is an avid surfer, golfer, and snowboarder.
